For as long as she can remember, Sarah-Maude has been passionate about learning. Over the last 3 years she has been working as a specialized private teacher for all types of students experiencing academic challenges. Having completed her bachelor’s degree in social and educational adaptation, she is able to provide support and re-education for students with learning difficulties and/or disorders in reading, writing and mathematics. In addition to working in a school environment as well as at Cabinet d’orthophonie l’Envol, Sarah-Maude is completing her master’s degree in specialized private teaching.
Sarah-Maude prefers incorporating a humane approach within her interventions by helping students acknowledge their many strengths to further support them along their academic journey. She also believes that embracing mistakes and using them as opportunities to learn is better than focusing on failure.
Sarah-Maude works with 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade elementary students in French and mathematics as well as with high school and CEGEP students in French. She is also qualified to support her students in their appropriation of technological aids. She works mainly in person at our office on Saint-Louis Street.
