Sandrine is committed to putting the individual at the heart of her interventions while including their family and other professionals involved. She strongly believes that the well-being of each person depends first of all on close collaboration in all of their living environments.
As a graduate with a Master’s degree in Health Sciences and a specialization in Speech Therapy from the University of Ottawa, Sandrine practices speech therapy with a pediatric, academic, and adult clientele. Her experience of more than ten years has led her to work in the public sector (physical rehabilitation center and school) as well as in the private sector within the Montreal and Outaouais region. Having always wanted to redefine the practice of speech therapists working in the private sector, she co-launched the opening of a speech therapy clinic in 2018.
As the sole owner and manager of the Cabinet d’orthophonie l’Envol, Sandrine offers assessment and rehabilitation services in both French and English. Her experience includes language and pronunciation difficulties, learning difficulties in reading, writing and mathematical cognition, voice troubles and oro-myofunctional disorders.
Her experience as an instructor and speaker extends to language and communication, learning and multilingualism in minority language situations. Sandrine has also taught at Université du Québec at Chicoutimi (UQAC) and Université de Montréal.
Sandrine also wants to improve the condition of all people with communication difficulties, including the neurodivergent population and their families who evolve with them. For several years, she has also provided consultation, support and training services to Innu First Nations communities on the North Shore.
