Maude-Andrée is deeply passionate about inclusive education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in special education teaching from the Université du Québec en Outaouais and has spent over nine years working in the education field. Her experience spans both Gatineau and Ottawa, where she has supported a wide range of learners while developing a rich and versatile skillset.
From early on in her academic journey, Maude-Andrée demonstrated a strong commitment to student success through tutoring. Since then, she has taught in homeroom classrooms, provided French as a second language instruction to children and adults, and offered flexible support across various schools. She has worked closely with students with diverse learning profiles, including those with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental language disorder (DLD), and learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dysorthographia.
She embraces a differentiated teaching approach that prioritizes the joy of learning and encourages effective, personalized strategies tailored to each student’s needs. Building trust is central to her work; whether with students or with parents, whom she supports with compassion and care.
Versatile and attentive, Maude-Andrée is equally skilled at working with children and adults. She consistently brings a thoughtful, adaptive approach, honoring each individual’s pace and helping them recognize and cultivate their unique potential.
