Josée earned a Bachelor’s degree in Language Sciences from Université Laval before completing her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ottawa in 2012. A mother of three young daughters, she has a special passion for working with young children in her speech-language pathology practice. Since graduating, she has worked in the public sector with children and adolescents who have Autism Spectrum Disorder or intellectual disabilities. This experience has allowed her to develop expertise in communication and language development, speech sound acquisition, as well as augmentative and alternative communication, among other areas.
For many years, Josée has led parent groups to help families support their child’s communication development. Through this work, she has come to appreciate the vital role parents and loved ones play in the intervention process. Josée is excited to join the team at L’Envol Speech-Language Pathology part-time and looks forward to welcoming you with open arms.
